Nottingham Gets 2 Work

 

16-29 year old Nottingham City residents who are not in education, training or employment. We provide free travel tickets, free bikes with accessories and cycling activities to help you travel to interviews, new training courses, apprenticeships and jobs

Nottingham Jobs Fund Plus

Financial support for employers to create year-long jobs for unemployed or economically inactive 18-24 year olds.

Nottingham Apprenticeship Grant

Grants of 1,000 for local employers if they take on an unemployed or economically inactive 16-24 year old city resident on as an apprentice.

Nottingham Works is a £6.9m initiative to help young people find work or training who are at risk of social exclusion because they have no prospect of getting a job. Nottingham City Council has secured funding through the European Social Fund and Youth Employment Initiative to deliver a programme of activities, known as Nottingham Works, to support NEET and unemployed City residents to re-engage with education, training and employment.
