The programme supports employers who:

  • are based in Nottinghamshire and/or Derbyshire
  • have less than 250 staff and a turnover of under 50 million euro
  • lack the time, HR capacity or finance needed for the recruitment process

This SFA ESF funded business support programme is part of the support services available through the D2N2 Hub. A bespoke recruitment service is provided through DBC training, to assist you with hiring local individuals.

Benefits to your business

The free, specialist recruitment support can enable you to effectively recruit the people you need, without needing to find the time, money and staff normally required to achieve this.

Through access to a single point of contact for all your needs, benefits of the bespoke service can include:

  • development of job descriptions
  • bespoke advertising
  • candidate matching service
  • thorough vetting process
  • pre-employment training
  • financial incentives to support your recruitment of an individual

Who you can employ

In order to qualify for free support and the further financial incentives on offer, you will need to recruit individuals who:

  • will be employed in Nottinghamshire and/or Derbyshire
  • have been recruited through EMPLOY Local
  • are aged 16 or over
  • are unemployed at the time you offer them the job
