The East Midlands Airport Academy has been established to provide a service to individuals in the local community who are looking for work at the airport as well as a bespoke recruitment service for airport employers.

Date: Wednesday 11 October 2017 from 9.45am - 12.30pm

Location: East Midlands Airport - Aerozone

Assessment day to identify learners for a two week sbwa starting 16.10.17.
Course is designed to introduce learners to the process of obtaining work at East Midlands Airport and includes an overview of Airport, NCS session on CV's etc.


19+ (age 19 by 31.08.17), claiming JSA or ESA WRAG, been in EU for more than three years.
Resident in UK, not in any form of paid employment and not already have Level 2 Customer Service.
Current, valid photo ID (full/provisional driving licence or passport) desirable.
Must provide full five year checkable history and evidence references without gaps of more than 28 days and must have right to work in the UK.
Majority of work at EMA involves shiftwork so must be prepared to work shifts.
