Salary: 18 – 20 £5.60, 21 – 24 £7.05, 24 -- 29 £7.50 per hour

Hours: 38 hours per week (flexible approach to working)

Main Duties: Delivering sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programs of study.
To also deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods.

Job Description:

  • To assist in delivering the curriculum
  • Engage with all participants
  • To display leadership qualities and set high standards
  • To conduct yourself in an appropriate manner at all times
  • Able to plan a range of innovative coaching sessions.
  • Set up and deliver high quality sports provision to children and young people
  • Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles
  • Knowledge of the school PE National Curriculum [Desirable]

Experience and skills:

  • Must have a love of sports and be actively involved in sports
  • Must be willing to undertake Physical Education and School Sport Level 2
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with school children
  • Must be able to help promote core values
  • DBS check is required
  • Must be motivated and enthusiastic
  • Above all must be reliable
